All U9 - U13’s are in the Advanced Development Program (ADP). The ADP philosophy is one designed with the child in mind, first and foremost. The soccer development at the younger ages is contributes to the overall maturation of a soccer player. ADP will place every child within our program in the most complete training environment possible. The training atmosphere will be very challenging and demanding in each and every session with our professional staff. Through our training methods and curriculum, your child will feel the immediate impact of the Mission Valley United professional training. This module will not only teach your child new aspects of the game, but it will show them the values of discipline, respect, commitment and many other components that are required by athletes to be successful in their respective careers.
U9 - U13 will train three days per week. The total annual costs of the program is divided into monthly payments. The program runs from April through February. The program has two breaks from mid- December through early January and the whole month of June. The information will be presented at your team meeting.
U14 - U18 please check with your respective manager for the cost of the season.
Are there hidden costs?
There are no hidden costs. New players to comp level soccer should attend the parent meeting before Tryouts to clarify any questions related to cost.
1) Travel - Each player is responsible for their travel costs to tournaments and games. Our most competitive teams travel further . Some tournaments may require over night stays. Travel costs will vary from team to team.
2) Kit - Every other year, the player is required to purchase a new uniform kit that includes home and away jersey, backpack, warm ups, etc. The kit is estimated at $280.

3) Team Dues - This amount is calculated by the team manager and treasurer and covers the cost of entering tournaments, coach travel, renting additional field time when necessary, etc. This amount depends on the level of the team ("A" teams do more travel and enter more expensive tournaments so their additional team dues are higher). Team dues are paid first at the beginning of the year team meeting and then typically another payment maybe due in the fall.
4) Fundraising - Mission Valley United as a club carries out various fundraising efforts throughout the year to offset club costs and provide monies for scholarships. Individual teams can offset their team dues by carrying out team fundraising. This is encouraged especially for teams that travel extensively.
