Fremont Youth Soccer League’s strategy aims to provide the overall strategic framework for soccer development of our players.
The Development Strategy covers the following areas:
Identification of the principle issues facing classic player’s development.
Providing a clear vision for the future FYSL players & prioritizing the development strategy
The strategy can only be implemented effectively if it is supported by a sound infrastructure for the delivery of the priorities and programs. FYSL currently has some of the best youth coaches in the area and with your help we can implement this strategy.
The comp league is composed of advanced teams participating at higher levels of competition in North California . The league is divided into divisions, with placement of teams within the divisions determined by the performance of the teams as indicated by league standings and other criteria.
Teams competing in the CYSA state league are composed of players selected by a tryout process. Its members may or may not be from a defined geographic area. Our U9-U13 teams train three nights a week and our U14-U18 teams train two nights a week. All of our comp coaches are qualified youth soccer coaches and we currently have the best coaches in the region.
Many of our players after playing comp soccer aim for the pinnacle of youth soccer. This is the Olympic Development Program (ODP). This program aims to identify, train and provide competition for the top players in North California (Cal North).
The comp level is not for everyone. It is the highest level of competition offered by the club as well as the state. It is the goal of FYSL to provide the appropriate level of coaching and competition for all our players.
