Coaches' meeting - August 2nd 7pm at the Fremont Library
A Coaches’ meeting covering the upcoming recreation and competitive season will be held August 2nd 7pm – 9pm at the Fremont library.
It is mandatory that ALL Coaches and Assistant Coaches in these programs attend.
As part of the meeting we will conduct a coach/assistant coach background check using LiveScan.
LiveScan is inkless electronic fingerprinting. The fingerprints are electronically transmitted to the Department of Justice (DOJ) for completion of a criminal record check.
APPLICANTS FOR FINGERPRINTING:
1. You must have a Request for Live Scan Service Form and
2. A VALID, government-issued photo ID
3. A Social Security Card is NOT required (except by some licensing requirements)
Failure to attend the meeting will result in the coach paying for any additional costs for fingerprinting.
The aim of the fingerprinting is to further safeguard our children. Many schools already fingerprint their teachers and at FYSL we feel this is an important addition to our program.
