Advanced Development Program (ADP) - U4 - U8
What is ADP?

ADP stands for ’Advanced Development Program’.

ADP seeks to improve individual player development, satisfaction and retention, and to build a less pressured youth soccer environment for coaches, adult spectators, and match officials.

This program is for U4- U8 boys and girls and will be the key to our organization’s ongoing success. We are committed to the development of our players love for the game and development as a player. Whether they go on to earn a college scholarship, play professionally or simply improve through the ranks of our recreational teams, our dedication to the individual’s progress will never waiver.

Our ADP Philosophy

The ADP provides a program that specializes in the development of competitive youth soccer players by providing a quality learning environment that focuses on:

  1. Teamwork, gamesmanship, and character development;
  2. The highest level of professional training;
  3. Clear communication lines between the academy and parents;
  4. Consistent assessment of players to ensure that each child is challenged but successful;
  5. Fostering an enduring passion for the game.
ADP Description
All training curriculum is implemented under the guidance of Andrew Donnery, Executive Director of Mission Valley United. The ADP system relies upon our volunteer parents to oversee practice and games for our players. The ADP scheme is challenging and truly brings out the love of soccer in each child. Each training session involves technique and team play in a fun environment utilizing the latest training techniques from the MVU age specific curriculum.
ADP Outcomes
Player development is planned – all players assessed against the norms for age and maturation
Volunteer coaches that oversee practice and games are educated continuously by a variety of methods
Considerable improvement in coach performance
