What is a Soccer Academy?
Academy programs have emerged as a 21st century alternative to the frustrating shortfalls in soccer development displayed by most pre-teens. This void is heavily influenced by coaching quality and the pressures to win at critical periods in the development process.
Academy programs seek to improve individual player development, satisfaction and retention, and to build a less pressured youth soccer environment for coaches, adult spectators, and match officials. The academy approach for youth soccer is supported by many governing bodies, US Soccer, US Youth Soccer, UEFA, FIFA.
This program is for U4- U8 boys and girls and will be the key to our organization’s ongoing success. We are committed to the development of our players love for the game and development as a player. Whether they go on to earn a college scholarship, play professionally or simply improve through the ranks of our recreational teams, our dedication to the individual’s progress will never waiver.
Our Academy Philosophy
The academy provides a program that specializes in the development of competitive youth soccer players by providing a quality learning environment that focuses on:
- Teamwork, gamesmanship, and character development;
- The highest level of professional training;
- Clear communication lines between the academy and parents;
- Consistent assessment of players to ensure that each child is challenged but successful;
- Fostering an enduring passion for the game.
